At the instant
when it falls into place
like fold upon fold
of a shawl
gently
settling
and words
stringed on blocks of wood
turn just enough
to reveal a daylight
I will not soon forget.

-- The pleasure of catching up with your blog after weeks away, the humor in comparing those weeks with "The Instant," pleasure again in staring mesmerized at this picture. It vies with glamour shots of Korean mountain ridges, temples, and rivers in spring, and it holds its own.
